The VERSATANK System enables sprinkler water storage tanks to be designed and installed where traditional cylindrical designs cannot easily be accommodated. Almost any shape can be designed with obstructions such as building support columns easily encapsulated within the tank if needed. Whether the location is in a cramped basement or in an external restricted site VERSATANK can provide the solution to fire sprinkler water storage.
- Tank heights up to 3.0m are available
- Hot dipped galvanized 3mm steel sheets 2,5m high x 1.0m long conforming to BS EN ISO 1461:1999.
- The tank is fixed to the concrete foundation using galvanized angles, clamps and parabolts with similar stiffening angles fixed to the top of the tank shell and knee bracing internal supports on every vertical seam.
- Unique bolted lap joint design sealed with high pressure mastic.
- Low profile roof cover that is plastic coated on the external side can be provided.
- Accessories such as galvanized access ladder and platform, inlet and outlet connections, ball valves, heater, contents gauge can be included as required.
