Our glass fused-to-steel coatings meet ANSI/NSF Standard 61
requirements for indirect additives, making them suitable for waste
water processing. During the waste water process, solids are removed
from the primary clarifier and sent to digester tanks where the
sludge is allowed to be decomposed by microorganisms. Digestion can
occur under anerobic conditions (without oxygen) or aerobic
conditions (with oxygen) and may take up to 14 days. Each
municipality has its own variation of the waste water process;
however, all have strict standards and compliance.
