Municipal wastewater treatment is a crucial component of the development of cultures and societies. Some of the products in a municipal wastewater treatment system include "black water" (human waste) and "grey water" (output from sinks, bathtubs, showers, drains, washing machines, and garbage disposals). Due to increasing limitations on public funding, it is essential that the equipment purchased offers the lowest possible lifetime costs. Lifecycle cost analysis repeatedly concludes that CST Industries pre-engineered sectional steel treatment tanks with glass fused-to-steel and high-grade thermoset epoxy coatings offer the best solution for municipal wastewater treatment.
